Today’s Choghadiya

Choghadiya divides each day and night into eight periods, each ruled by a planet and carrying a traditional quality. Four are considered auspicious for new beginnings: Amrit, Shubh, Labh, and Char. Three are considered inauspicious: Udveg, Rog, and Kaal. The sequence is determined by the weekday and computed from your local sunrise and sunset.
