Are these charts actually accurate?

Yes, and you can check the math. Every chart is computed with the Swiss Ephemeris, the same planetary data NASA JPL uses, and the Lahiri ayanamsa, the Indian government standard. We show the calculation, not just the verdict.

My old janampatri shows a different ascendant. Which is right?

Charts made before modern computing often used mean-position formulas that drift, sometimes far enough to put the ascendant in the wrong sign. A Swiss Ephemeris chart reflects the actual sky at your birth moment. If yours disagrees with an older hand-calculated one, the difference is almost always the older method, not ours.

Is Vedic astrology scientifically proven?

We keep three things separate and honest. The astronomy is real and measurable. The interpretations are documented in classical Sanskrit texts, cited to chapter and verse. Whether those interpretations predict outcomes under controlled testing is a separate and contested question. We treat astrology as a framework for reflection, not a validated predictor, and we never pretend otherwise.

How are you different from other astrology apps?

We don't run ads or bury the basics behind a paywall, and we don't use dosha-fear to drive purchases. Every interpretation traces to a named classical text, not anonymous "ancient wisdom." We monetise depth, never anxiety.

Will you tell me when something bad will happen, like death or illness?

No. Some classical texts claim to time death or grave illness; we don't publish readings like that, on any chart, at any price. A reading should help you live well, not hand you a fear to carry.

Do you use AI to write the readings? Can I trust what it says?

The chart itself is pure astronomy, computed deterministically, never by AI. Every classical fact in your report, your yogas, doshas, and placements, is computed and checked against the texts, not generated. AI is used only to put that grounded analysis into clear, readable language. It never invents a chart fact or a prediction.

Are the readings personalised, or the same generic text everyone gets?

Every reading is built from your exact chart. We deliberately avoid the vague statements that fit almost anyone. If a sentence would not change for a different chart, it does not belong in your report.

What do you need from me to make a chart?

Your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth. Time and place together fix the ascendant and the houses, which is what makes a chart yours rather than generic.

What if I don't know my exact birth time?

We label every chart's confidence as exact, approximate, or unknown, and tell you which parts of the reading stay reliable when the time is uncertain. We won't pretend a fuzzy birth time gives a precise chart.

Can I get a chart for a family member or someone else?

Yes. You can compute a chart for anyone whose birth details you have, for yourself or for someone in your family.

Which ayanamsa and house system do you use?

Lahiri ayanamsa, the Indian government standard, and whole-sign houses, the system the classical texts assume. Our methodology pages explain each choice and why we made it.

What texts do your interpretations come from?

Named classical Sanskrit texts: Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and Saravali as the spine, extended by Phaladeepika, Brihat Jataka, Jataka Parijata, and Uttara Kalamrita. Each interpretation is keyed to a specific text and verse, which you can see on our methodology pages.

What do I get for free?

Your full natal chart calculation and the Panchanga tool are free. The paid reports add interpretation.

What reports do you offer?

SahiAnk (₹249) is a Vedic numerology reading of your name and birth date. SahiJiva (₹349) is a Jaimini soul-and-character reading drawn from your Atmakaraka. SahiNow (₹499) is your natal chart with a current-state and 12-month timing reading. SahiMatch (₹499) compares two charts through the classical Ashtakoota compatibility system. SahiLife (₹999) reads career, relationships, money, and inner life across your life arc. SahiComplete (₹2,499) is the full reading: every theme, the complete Vimshottari timeline, divisional charts, and yogas.

Which report should I start with?

SahiNow is the best place to start for most people: it reads your chart as it stands today and what the year ahead holds. If you want something more specific, SahiJiva goes deep on character and SahiAnk on your numbers.

Is this a subscription?

No. Every report is a one-time purchase. There is no recurring billing.

Will I get a report I can keep?

Yes. Each reading is delivered as a complete report you can read and download. It is generated for your chart and saved at a private link for you.

How do I pay?

UPI is live now. Additional payment methods, including cards and international payments, are rolling out shortly.

What's your refund policy?

A report is refundable only if it has not been delivered. Once a report is generated and delivered, the work is complete, so delivered reports are not refundable.

My payment went through but my report did not arrive. What do I do?

Reports are generated within a few minutes of payment, and your report page updates on its own as soon as it is ready. If something goes wrong, your payment is recorded and we will make it right. Reach us through our contact page and we will sort it out.

How long does a report take?

Usually a few minutes. The report page checks for you and opens the reading as soon as it is ready, so you do not need to refresh.

What happens to my birth data?

Your birth data is never sold or shared, and you can request deletion at any time. See our privacy page for details.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You don't need an account. Your report is delivered to you at a private link tied to your purchase.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can request deletion at any time and we honour it. Reach us through our contact page and we will remove your data.

How do I contact you?

Can I talk to a real astrologer?

Not yet. A consultation option is in the pipeline. For now SahiKundli is self-serve: you get the full reading, computed and cited, without booking anyone's time.
