Chaitra, Vaishakha, Jyeshtha, Ashadha, Shravana, Bhadrapada, Ashwin, Kartik, Margashirsha, Pausha, Magha, Phalguna. Each month carries rituals, vrat, festivals, deities, and a mood that a real Shastriji naturally brings into the conversation.
The backend now carries a North India display month over the astronomical Panchanga. In Krishna Paksha, Amanta and Purnimanta names can differ, so the public label is kept separate from the raw calculation.
Reading
A reading may mention an active vrata, month, or festival when it helps the person understand the current spiritual weather. The natal chart, dasha, gochar, and SahiMeter still decide the claim.
Prediction
A festival can support language like 'this is a good period for Shiva upasana.' It cannot create a fixed event date or promise an outcome unless the timing compute already supports it.
Upaay
Seasonal upaay can be chosen more naturally. During Sawan, Shiva-oriented practice can be surfaced when the chart also supports it. We do not prescribe fasting as a medical or compulsory act.

Boundary
Sacred context, not a shortcut for prediction.
Sawan can explain the spiritual mood of the day and refine an already suitable upaay. It does not by itself create a marriage promise, a health prediction, or a fixed event date.
For exact observance dates, use the daily Panchanga and your family or regional Panchang. SahiKundli shows the computed sky, the public month context, and where that context may be used.
