1. Who we are

SahiKundli is operated by Vikram Jit Singh, based in New Delhi, India. Questions about this policy can be directed to [email protected].

2. What we collect

To generate your kundli, we collect your birth date, birth time, and place of birth. This is the minimum required for astrological computation. We do not require an account or email address to use the free tier. If you purchase a paid report, we collect your email address for delivery purposes only.

3. How we use your data

Your birth data is used solely to compute and display your chart and interpretations. We do not use it for profiling, advertising targeting, or any purpose beyond the service you requested.

4. What we do not do

  • — We do not share your data with advertisers.
  • — We do not use your birth data for commercial purposes beyond delivering your report.

5. Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the platform is used in aggregate — which pages are visited, which features are used. PostHog data is anonymised and used only to improve the product. We do not link analytics data to your birth details.

6. Data retention

We retain your birth data only as long as necessary to provide the service. You may request deletion at any time by writing to [email protected]. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU/UK), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected].

8. Cookies

We use a minimal analytics cookie (PostHog) to track session activity. We do not use advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; this will not affect your ability to generate a kundli.

We will update this page if our data practices change materially. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
