Ayanamsa Difference

Vedic (sidereal) and Western (tropical) astrology use different starting points for the zodiac. The gap between them — currently about 23° — is called the ayanamsa. This tool shows your planet positions in both systems side by side, so you can see exactly where they differ and which signs change.

SahiKundli uses Lahiri ayanamsa throughout. This is why your Vedic chart often looks different from a Western one.
