D9 divisional chart
The Navamsa is the ninth divisional chart. SahiKundli uses it as a refinement layer, especially for marriage and relationship readings, not as a replacement for the main birth chart.
In simple language, the birth chart shows the main promise of the chart. The Navamsa helps check how that promise matures, deepens, or becomes clearer over time. It is built by dividing each zodiac sign into nine equal parts, then arranging those divisions into a separate D9 chart.
This is why Navamsa is important in marriage readings. A planet can look strong in the main chart but need more support in D9, or look ordinary in the main chart but gain steadiness in D9. For marriage, SahiKundli checks Venus, the 7th lord, and the partnership axis in the Navamsa alongside the main birth chart.
Navamsa is never read alone. A SahiVivah or relationship reading first studies the 7th house, its lord, Venus, Manglik factors, and the running dasha in the main chart. The D9 then adds a second layer: whether the same marriage indicators hold their strength when the chart is examined more finely.
Used on SahiKundli for: SahiVivah, SahiLife Relationship, and compatibility-adjacent readings where marriage strength, partner fit, commitment style, or long-term partnership themes need a deeper check.
